Dear Members and Friends,
After the news last night revealed the aggressive spread of the virus in the U.S., I
have decided to cancel our service tonight. As we continue to have faith that we
are under God’s protection, let us also have wisdom. We will take a fresh look at
the situation each week and decide whether we should meet. Please worship and
read the Scriptures at home with your families. And monitor our website and
Facebook often for any updates.
We are working hard to put in place some things that may help when we do not
have a service. Hopefully a video recording or live streaming of our services will
soon be available as well as a means to bring tithes and give offerings online.
Watch our website and Facebook for these.
Finally, use times of isolation for some things that weren’t as easy before. Get
more rest, read a good book, spend more time with your children, etc. Also, spend
more time in prayer (consider fasting and praying) as well as more time in God’s
Word. And don’t forget to reach out to others by phone, text, Facebook and e-
mail. That unbelieving friend may be “ripe for harvest” and we can all use
Hoping and praying for quick resolution of the crisis!!
In Jesus’ love,
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid,
nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
